Our Story

Some of life's greatest gifts begin in ordinary ways. Ours started with a simple conversation that led to something neither of us could have imagined.

On our first date, which unexpectedly lasted nine hours, a stranger looked at us and asked, "So, how long have you two been married?" We laughed it off at the time, but looking back, that man was onto something.

As we spent more time together, dating turned into a meaningful connection, friendship grew into love, and one adventure in particular changed everything for us. On our first trip together, we experienced an indescribable sense of peace and clarity. It became one of the first moments where we both felt that God was gently weaving our lives together.

The sunsets felt a little brighter, doors seemed to open at just the right moments, and unexpected kindness and favor met us wherever we went.

That trip turned into an unexpected extra day together when we decided to postpone flights to enjoy each other more. It gave us one more day to simply be together and soak in the excitement of what we felt might be unfolding between us. We left that trip with a quiet confidence that God was gently leading us toward one another.

Since then, our journey has been filled with laughter, long conversations, new adventures, growing pains, answered prayers, and countless reminders that love is less about perfection and more about choosing one another every day. We've discovered that love is found in the everyday moments...in encouraging one another, extending grace, celebrating each other's victories, standing together through life's changes, and continuing to grow through every season.

As we prepare for marriage, we're most excited about building a home that reflects our shared vision for a life rooted in faith, kindness, creativity, joy, hospitality, and serving others. We know the best chapters of our story are still ahead, and we feel incredibly grateful to celebrate this season with the people we love most.

Each of you has shaped us in different seasons of our lives, and we wouldn't be who we are without the love, encouragement, and friendship we've received along the way.

Your presence at our wedding is one of the greatest gifts we could ever receive, and we can't wait to begin this next chapter as The Woods, with all of you by our side.
